I don't try to ignore tags, I just forget. I also have a draft that I am working on about Tessa's birth. It is just taking too long to finish because who wants to nurse and type at the same time? OK...I just haven't mastered that yet. :0)

Yeah. This Is SO Going To Happen. I'm There.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that July 13 is Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A. If you go to ANY Chick-fil-A on July 13 and dress like a cow, you get a FREE combo meal! The whole meal! So take the kids (and you), dress them up and enjoy a free meal!
I would do this for much less. I love animal costumes. Pictures to come.

Today's Dr. Apt.
Nurse takes my blood pressure. Makes a face. Doesn't speak. I ask if it is high again.
Nurse- "Yeaaaaaaaah." (In a concerned sounding voice.)
Me- "I have been keeping an eye on it. It's better when I am resting and most of all wearing pants."
Nurse- "OK, I can check it again later."
Thirty minutes later.
Dr. comes in, we exchange hellos and such. I let him know about the super hard contractions of the week. The ones I feel in my back, thighs and other places that would make me blush to mention but you already know.
Dr. while checking me- "I'm sorry to say that you are still only at two."
Me- "I know you are kidding."
Dr.- "No, still two."
Nurse- "Is this your first baby?"
Me- "NO IT'S MY THIRD"
Nurse- "THIRD???? YOU NEED TO GO FOR A WALK!"
ME- "Shaking on the inside. I DID FOR THREE HOURS YESTERDAY."
Dr.- "Well, other women have been just like this and they have called me because their water has broken."
Me- "Ok! How do I do that."
Nurse (grabbing my arm)- "Let's not get crazy, now!"
Me- "What is the point of walking then? If it isn't doing anything anyway???"
Dr.- "It's still good for you."
Me- "BESIDES THAT!!!! What are these contractions for? Nothing?"
Dr.- "Prelabor contractions are harder after two babies."
Me- Thinking I have never heard that in my life.
Dr.- "Do you want me to induce you?"
Me- "NOOOOO" (O's are representing the times I have already said this in previous appointments. That is only a few more than when he has asked me if I will want an epidural. Never had one, never want one.)
Dr. begins to ask about the size of other two babies.
Out of the blue Dr. says- "I could get you an ultrasound if you want. Sometimes when women are having ten or eleven lb. babies they just opt for a c-section."
Me- Quiet...
Me- "Are you saying my baby is going to weigh ten or eleven POUNDS?"
Dr.- "No, I would guess a little more than your second. I was just asking if you wanted to know."
Me- "I don't need to know that. I wouldn't have a c-section for that reason. I would let my body give it a shot." (Breathing deeply, counting to ten.)
Dr.- "Well, I will probably see you back in here next week. I hope for you though it is sooner."
I go to my car and cry.
